Our site offers you a service to be found nowhere else, neither at FNAC nor in a shop : inventories and listenings of disk extracts which allow you to purchase only the music you appreciate. At the present time, any disk purchase is done blindly, since they are wrapped. On this site you may act, listen and decide by yourself. We offer from 3 to 5 extracts per disk, which you will find nowhere else on the web ! Here and now, we offer you forty-odd gregorian chant and polyphony disks. You might be thinking what do 40 disks represent in a catalogue ? Well, this means almost 200 extracts; you have enough material at hand to return to our site daily to listen, appreciate and select the music you prefer. Then purchase is done in just a few clicks. Sacred polyphonies For this coming November, we selected several disks in harmony with the liturgical theme : various Requiems and other liturgical texts of the time, by such composers as Charpentier, Gilles, Mondonville, Victoria, Tallis, Allegri, Palestrina, Leonardo Leo, du Caurroy, Vivaldi, Scarlatti, di Lasso, Monteverdi, Cavalli, Zelenka, Buxtehude. The texts often go beyond the narrow scope of the office for the dead. This is only a beginning. In the coming months, we will present many other authors and will find more little jewels just for you. |
