Downloading from the database

You need to login before you can download for free
In each category, only the first files can be downloaded by all internauts. The next files require your identification. Please indicate your username and email address.

Please login, otherwise you may not find the file you seek.
Then if the score you seek is not (yet) in the database, you may leave a message to the webmaster.
The free download base contains two mains divisions : scores and separate voices in mp3

Use the research function to find what you wish. The characteristics of each score are to be found in the “Description” field, they include : the liturgical season, the function (Offertory, post-Consecration, Communion, etc...) the duration in minutes and seconds (maximum duration), the parts (for example SATB  = Soprano, Alto,Tenor, Bass) , the availability of the separate voices mp3 files in the database.

Research in the “Description” field is recommended, unless you seek a title according to a specific name/author. In such a case, a research by name is recommended.

For an explanation of the difficulty level please read the corresponding article.

Concerning new partitions... PDF Print E-mail
In only a few months, we have uploaded short of a hundred partitions for free download on our site. Those partitions may be directly used for the liturgy by most choirs, according to the different liturgical times of the year.

They have also been systematically redesigned, in order to offer a better readability and a more pleasant singing experience. Important efforts have been poured into these tasks.

We are keen to carry on our action for the good of many a choir. We now make a call to choir masters to share their partitions and to send us those they feel might be useful for others. We will put them in the partition base after graphic redesign.

To forward your partitions, please send them

  • either by email to: This e-mail address is being protected from spam bots, you need JavaScript enabled to view it
  • or by land mail to: Association Sacra Musica - 50, rue de la gare - 59170 Croix (France)

We thank you in advance for your time and efforts

In the meanwhile, here are some new partitions for the times of Passion and Easter that have just been added to the database.

You will find below a list of pieces with composer names, voice distributions and possible liturgical uses.

Scores for Septuagesima and Lent PDF Print E-mail

Careme_3_trait.jpg

We have just put some new scores on the site, scores of direct interest for choire conductors and singers at Sunday mass alike.

Lent fast approaching, we propose as a first step some liturgical pieces for this period.

We draw your attention to the existence in our database of drone scores of graduals and traits for Sundays to come. Given the length and difficulties for performing certain Gregorian pieces, drone is a good alternative to singing these texts that do not deserve to be honored by silence.
